Our Lucas LR / FT 6 lamps are the correct choice for 1950’s and early 1960’s British cars. Our Lucas LR / FT 9 lamps are the correct type for late 1960s and early 1970s British cars.
We are STRONG advocates of long-range spot-lamps! Why? On any road-trip with your classic car in Europe you will find yourself in the pitch dark after sundown in rural areas. Especially on the winding roads of Great Britain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and East European countries. You will find that your standard lamps (unless extra Halogen spot lamps were factory fitted) are very inadequate in lighting the road and the dangers ahead. Be prepared and add a SEA of light to your classic!
The Spot / Fog combination is also very versatile: The powerful spot-lamp works in combination with the standard beam lamps of your car (usually quite weak driving lamps on vintage and classic cars). The separately switched wide-beam fog lamp lights the verge of the road and the inside of road-bends. “Enjoy the Ride!“
