Riley – the production and competition history of the pre-1939 Riley motor cars – A.T. Birmingham

This book about the pre-WW2 Riley motorcars is THE standard work on this subject. Dr. Birmingham covers the Riley history from the early beginnings with cycles, motorcycles and tri-cars up to the last pre-war V8’s. A very well written book and beautifully illustrated with many period photographs. A must-have for the motoring historian and for the Riley enthusiast alike.
This second edition hardcover is in near FINE condition. A very fresh and crisp text bloc and perfect cover boards. No inscription, no foxing, a very clean copy! The dust-jacket is very good to excellent. NO tears, only a little chipping at the top of the spine. The jacket is a little more creamy then when new and you will find some traces of grubbyness on it. The dust jacket is now protected by a high quality Brodart polyester film archival jacket cover. Please study the many photos of the actual book carefully, they form part of the description. “Enjoy the Ride!”
