SOLD to Japan: ULTRA RARE Vintage Original 1974 Citroen D / ID / DS Workshop Repair Manual – No 814 – Volume 1

Here we have an ultra rare and very clean complete copy of the March 1974 D Vehicle Repair Manual No 814 for all Citroën D / ID / DS cars produced since 1965. This is volume 1 which covers all the important characteristics, adjustments and checks for these ID / DS models. All the enthusiast / mechanic needs to know for servicing and adjusting the mechanicals, hydraulics and electical parts of Citroën ID / DS models from 1965 until 1974. Volume 2 (not included) covers dismantling / assembling and reconditioning of the ID / DS components, electricals and bodywork.

The manual is a burgundy colour cardboard A4+ size 23 rings file folder. The cardboard folder is in a very good condition for its age. The gold lettering on the spine is perfect. The cover shows scuffs, some scratches and a chip off the right top front surface.  The 23 ring clip is clean and it works perfectly. The title page is a bit grubby, all the other hundreds of pages are very clean! no oily fingers or smears. Only two lines on pages are underlined with a blue roller ball-point. This is an ultra rare vintage original and highly desirable 1974 Citroën ID / DS Workshop Repair manual. An indispensable handbook for working on, servicing and adjusting one of the most complex vintage automobiles ever conceived. “Enjoy the Ride!”

Condition: Cover, very good for age with bumps to the edges, scuffing, some scratches and a tear mark at the right front. Very clean condition. Inside the title page is a little grubby. All the hundreds other inner pages are in superb condition! No tears, no oily fingers or smears. Ultra rare and especially in this complete and fine condition. On one or two pages a line has been underlined with blue pencil.
