This rare Smiths car clock / watch was manufactured in Great Britain, all the parts are made of (anti-magnetic) brass. The glass is made of hard transparent plastic. On the back you will find a round magnet to attach the clock to metal dashboards. Tho attach the clock to non-metal dashboards, a metal disc is included with double sided strong adhesive tape on the back. The dasboard clock measures (L x W x H) 6 x 5 x 2.1 centimeters. (See the 1 euro coin for reference. Coin not included). The clock was fully serviced, it works perfectly and it keeps good time. The glossy black paint on the housing shows slight signs of use (patina) and age and the paint on the digits has discoloured over the last 6 decades (study the pictures carefully).
