Within the European Union (EU) parcels are shipped registered and insured via PostNL or via UPS in 2 – 7 days door-to-door. We ship from the Netherlands (Holland) on Mondays and Thursdays. We ship to many countries outside the European Union. Standard shipping outside the EU is UPS Expedited which takes 5-7 days door-to-door worldwide. ALL global buyers can add our additional UPS EXPRESS shipping option (same day / next day shipping 2-3 days door-to-door worldwide at an additional cost of 35 euro).  NOTE: WE DO NOT SHIP TO POST / PARCEL BOXES (P.O. Box).

NOTES to all buyers: 1. The product photos in our web-shop have been taken from the actual product that you buy and receive. We pack very securely (shock & moisture proof) to make sure that the item(s) reach you in the same condition as in the photos. All the products receive a final check before we ship to you, this to ensure that the product lives up to our high quality standards. 2. shipping costs are FLAT-RATE per order and destination. This means that you only pay shipping for the heaviest item! We help you to save shipping costs on combined orders!

Classentials is a trade mark of Classicar Garage in the Netherlands. Classicar Garage was founded to offer a tested selection of high quality vintage and classic cars to a global audience. This in co-operation with high profile restorers, garages and classic car dealer firms from the Netherlands with perfect track records and decades of experience. Like the parent company, Classentials is all about vintage quality products and great motoring experiences. Classentials is established to offer a remarkable selection of Motoring Essentials to the passionate vintage and classic car enthusiast. Motoring Books, Vintage Motoring Accessories and Vintage Model Cars to add ‘zest’ and joy to your motoring passion.

OUR PRODUCTS

Motoring Accessories: Classentials sells a limited programme of special accessories which enhance the experience of vintage and classic car ownership. Over two decades of classic car ownership and the countless outings and trips with classic cars gave the inspiration for the Classentials ‘Motoring Essentials’ accessories. You will find beautiful vintage Blaupunkt radios to upgrade your classic car dashboard and wonderful key-rings / fobs to give the final touch to your classic car keys. You will find beautifully refurbished Lucas long-range spot-lamps to add a sea of light to your nightly outings and road trips abroad. You will also be surprised by the Vintage Special Finds like rare ‘dashboard’ accessories, tools and rally items.

Vintage Model Cars: Classentials offers a high quality collection of 1960s and early 1970s Corgi Toys die-cast model cars. Models from the period when the cars where on sale brand new in the dealer showrooms. These 1:43 scale models, many of them MINT and complete with their original boxes, are rare and sought after precious gems. Every true enthusiast should have a period scale model of his ‘life-size’ (sports) car on his / her desk or cupboard!

SHIPPING

Classentials is located in the Netherlands. We ship our products globally via UPS and via PostNL in the Netherlands (All with with track & trace and insured.) In case you live OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION, and want to order, please read the TAXES and CUSTOMS chapter below. We pack and ship orders on Mondays and Thursdays. TYPE ERRORS with the products reserved! The shipping costs displayed at the check-out are the true shipping costs! Please DOUBLE-CHECK your address, E-mail address and phone number in the check-out when ordering.

*TAXES & CUSTOMS (NON EU CUSTOMERS)

ATTENTION: When you live in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, North- or South America, Afrika, Asia, Russia or other countries outside the European Union (EU) YOU WILL VERY LIKELY BE CHARGED EXTRA CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES BY YOUR GOVERNMENT. These costs are your own responsibility. These additional costs will be charged on arrival of your parcel and the tariff can mount up to 30% of the initial purchase price. Check the tax free import amount for your country before you decide to buy.

WARRANTY

  • Our new books, vintage books, vintage model cars and key-rings are being sold WITHOUT warranty.
  • Our Vintage Special Finds being between 40 and over 100 years old are being sold WITHOUT warranty.
  • Updated 28 August 2018: Our 1 year EUROPEAN WARRANTY only has changed to 1.5 year (18 months) EUROPEAN & GLOBAL WARRANTY* on our vintage serviced and refurbished auto-radios and our vintage refurbished spot-lamps. (light-bulbs: Within the warranty period we will send you a new light bulb to be replaced by yourself or by your local garage at costs of the buyer).

*NOTE 1. Our vintage original refurbished auto radios are all sealed for warranty and identification reasons. When the NUMBERED SAFETY SEAL on a vintage refurbished auto-radio has been BROKEN OR HAS BEEN TAMPERED WITH, SHOWING THE TEXT OPENED the warranty is immediately void / lapsed. NOTE 2. In case one of our vintage original auto radios becomes defunct in the 18 months warranty period we only pay for the repair (or exchange) of the radio and the shipping costs from your address (the original shipping address) to and from our workshop in the Netherlands. Costs you have made to install the radio, and costs you have made to remove the radio from your classic car for repair are EXCLUDED from the warranty.

REPAIR / EXCHANGE

In case your vintage refurbished auto-radio or vintage refurbished spot-lamp stops working / breaks during normal use in / on your classic car (excuding light-bulbs) within the warranty period of 1.5 years (18 months) after the purchase-date we offer a repair or exchange (if an identical radio / spot-lamp is in stock). The buyer returns the broken product with track and trace. Classentials arranges the repair / exchange of the product and pays for the shipping costs. We only want HAPPY CUSTOMERS!

RETURNS (EU, UK, switzerland and USA)

If you are not satisfied with your purchase then you may return the item within two weeks after delivery with track and trace. Return postage, including track and trace, is to be paid by you, the buyer of the product. After we have received the returned product Classentials will refund the initial purchase price and initial shipping costs immediately via Paypal.

KLARNA PAYMENTS (PAY LATER / SLICE-IT)

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment methods. Payment is to be made to Klarna.

Pay later: The payment period is 14 days from shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service. You can find the complete terms and conditions for the markets where this payment method is available here: United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Austria and the Netherlands.

Slice it: With the financing service from Klarna you can pay your purchase in flexible or fixed monthly instalments according to the conditions stated in the checkout. The instalment payment is due at the end of each month after submission of a separate monthly invoice by Klarna. Further information regarding Slice It including terms and conditions and Standard European Consumer Credit Information you can find here for the markets where this payment method is available: Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Direct banking: Available in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited directly after placement of your order.
Direct Debit: Available in Germany, Sweden, Austria and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited after shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service ​or in case of a subscription in accordance with the timelines communicate​d. You will be notified about the date(s) by email.

Card Payments: Available in Germany. The amount will be reserved on your card and will be debited after shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service. In case of a subscription the amount will be debited in accordance with the timelines communicate​d.

The payment methods Pay later (in 14 days), Slice It and direct debit are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. General information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on klarna.com. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarnas privacy statement.

Personal data that we process: Classentials.com processes your personal data when you use our services (by buying a product) and / or because you provide data yourself by creating an account on www.classentials.com. When you purchase a product (or products) at Classentials.com we process the following data: Name, Address details, E-mail address, telephone number, and Bank account number. Other personal data we process: data which you actively provide, by creating an account on this website, or in correspondence, and/ or by telephone.

Special and / or sensitive personal data that we process: Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians to BUY an item. However, we can not check if a visitor / buyer is older or younger than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this consent, please contact us via info@classentials.com and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on the basis of which we process personal data: Classentials.com processes your personal data for the following purposes: Handling your payment and order, Sending our monthly newsletter – Allowing you to create an account – For goods and services we deliver to you.

Automated decision making: Classentials.com does NOT take decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without a person (for example, an employee of Classentials.com) sitting between them. Classentials.com uses the following computer programs or systems: WordPress Woocommerce web-shop software, Paypal add-in for international payments, Mollie Payments add-in for payments within the Netherlands.

How long we store personal information: Classentials.com does not store your personal data (which you provided with a purchase) for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following personal data: Name, address and bank account number: retention period up to 18 months after your purchase. E-mail address: unlimited and / or until you sign-out for our monthly newsletter yourself.

Sharing personal data with third parties: Classentials.com only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation (handling your payment and shipping your order).

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use: Classentials.com uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for your ease of use. These cookies ensure that the website works properly that the website remembers, for example, your preferred settings. We can also optimize our website with this.
