Here we have a very nice 1960s / 1970s map reading light / lamp in very good used condition! The lamp shows light signs of use, study the pictures carefully. This type of map reading lamp was used in all cars of the period when a road map had to be studied in dim lighting conditions. The lamp plugs-in to a standard cigarette lighter socket. The chromed metal ‘goose neck’ can be bent in every direction where light is needed. The lamp has no on / off switch, the lamp is on when plugged in the cigarette lighter. The light bulb is a 5 Watt (12V) bayonet type. This 50+ years vintage originalmap reading lamp measures 47 centimetres (18 inch) in length and the item weighs 190 grammes.
