Here we have a pair of beautiful (1960s – 1970s) Lucas LR8 “Square-8” long-range spot-lamps in superb and like new vintage condition. The lamps were never installed and one comes in its original box. The lamps come complete with their original black protective caps. These gorgeous Lucas spot-Lamps will make a desirable addition to your British (sports) car of the 1960s and 1970s. In period the Lucas LR8 “Square-8” lamps were fitted to Aston Martin DBS, V8, Jensen Interceptor, Rover P6, Triumph TR 6, Triumph Stag and many others. Long-Range Spot-lamps are supposed to be mounted just above your cars front bumper for the beams to reach farther.

We are STRONG advocates of long-range spot-lamps! Why? On any road-trip with your classic car in Europe you will find yourself in the pitch dark after sundown in rural areas. Especially on the winding roads of Great Britain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and East European countries. You will find that your standard lamps (unless extra Halogen spot lamps were factory fitted) are very inadequate in lighting the road and dangers ahead.
